MOVIE | SENTINEL
STARRING   MICHAEL DOUGLAS , KIEFER SUTHERLAND, EVA LONGORIA, MARTIN DONOVAN, RITCHIE COSTER AND KIM BASINGER

WHAT'S THE CONCEPT ?
Pete Garrison (Jack Bauer)’s unconditional loyalty to the president has won him a lot of dignity and respect among fellow secret service men. When he finds out there’s a traitor lurking around within the ranks of the presidential guard, he accuses the mentor (Michael Douglas) of treason. But a strange twist puts him in a bad light when he turns out to be the only agent that fails a polygraph test, the suspicions turn on him, and he becomes a target.

WHAT'S LIKE ?
When the Secret Service gets on his case, the movie takes a swerve into becoming a wild goose chase as Pete Garrison tries to flee the accusations and torment of his former colleagues while they chase him down. With time working against him, it he’s left with no other option but to reveal the truth behind why he failed, and unravel the bitter conspiracy.

WORTH WATCHING ?
Having set a standard in the acting business for five years straight while starring in 24, Sutherland has mastered the art of taking on secret service life and conspiratorial detective stories with the suspense factor on high, while doing it with slithery style. There’s a scent of Jack Bauer-ness, which is interesting when pitted against the bitter mentor as played by a poker-faced Michael Douglas. It’s a real treat to see that Sutherland’s talents really do extend beyond 24.
