WHAT'S THE CONCEPT ?
After many a twist and turn in the fate of Spidey man’s career, he’s finally come to enjoy normalcy. Now, he’s found a balance between his passion for Mary Jane Watson, and his undying duties as Spiderman. Better yet, the Big Apple is starting to appreciate his presence and efforts in battling the evils of the city and warding off crime. But just while everything seems to be falling into place on the surface, alas, a big black star is about to hit him on the head again.

WHAT'S LIKE ?
When the formidable foe Flint Marko attempts to break out of prison, he instead gets caught in the middle of a supernatural outbreak: by accident, his molecules are displaced, turning him into the notorious Sandman. After the supernatural twist takes its hold, Flint Marko is transformed into a very powerful being that is able to transform his body into any sand form he deems fit for the situation.

WORTH WATCHING ?
Things get muddier when Spiderman’s mortal identity, Peter, wakes up to the knowing that Peter was responsible for the murder of his Uncle Ben. This instills in him the undying determination to capture the foe and bring him to justice. In the meantime, a strange black substance which has tainted Spiderman’s suit is bringing out a morbid side that is interfering with his ethics as a superhero, and his spidey sense starts going berserk...
