With no visible buttons or optics, the i70 doesn’t even look like a camera until you glide back the body to reveal the hidden lens.
We’ve no complaints about the picture quality, start-up speed, or focusing, while the plush navigation pad puts picture tweaks just a few easy clicks away. It’s not such a fancy Dan in low-light conditions, however.
For reasons best known to itself, Samsung’s pitching the i70 as a portable media player – it even comes with a pair of headphones. The movie mode impresses, and even though the i70 doesn’t cut it as a video or music player, it’s still a stylish compact camera. Just one more thing: we also like the fact that it comes in an off-gold color that’s eerily reminiscent of Colombo’s macintosh.

Love Minimal, very stylish design. Good pictures, particularly in favorable lighting conditions.
Hate Largely pointless media player pretensions.
